Could actress Song Hye Gyo be the next muse for writer Kim Eun Sook‘s upcoming piece? Reportedly, the two parties have recently been in talks regarding Song Hye Gyo’s lead female role in Kim Eun Sook’s upcoming drama The Sun’s Descendant.
On March 12th, according to an affiliated member, “There is a high possibility that Song Hye Gyo will take the lead female role in writer Kim Eun Sook’s new drama ‘The Sun’s Descendant’ for KBS2. Recently, Song Hye Gyo’s agency and the drama’s production team have met to iron out the details.”
Previously, The Sun’s Descendant has garnered attention for offering love-calls to Song Joong Ki as his comeback piece after his discharge from the military this year. The drama is set to begin filming by the end of April or beginning of May. Although Kim Eun Sook is known to work with SBS, this time, the writer is to work with KBS2 for the drama.
Meanwhile, Kim Eun Sook is renown for scripting popular dramas, including, Lovers In Paris, Secret Garden, Gentleman’s Dignity, The Heirs, and more. If the actress confirms her casting, this will be her comeback to the brown screen for the first time in the last two years after the hit drama That Winter, The Wind Blows in 2013 for SBS. Who’s excited to see the hallyu goddess Song Hye Gyo back on the brown screen?
