Leeteuk creates a Weibo account!

Super Junior’s leader, Leeteuk, is the next in line to create a Weibo account! Leeteuk created his personal account on January 18th, hoping to interact with his Chinese fans through another social networking platform. Within a day, the K-pop star has already attracted more than 100,000 followers, showing that his popularity is still very much alive.

He has already updated his Weibo account with a few posts, typically sharing a fantaken photo with romanized Chinese phrases. Leeteuk tried using some simple Chinese sentences, including “jia you” (fighting), “Wǒ xiǎngniàn nǐ” (I miss you), and even “漂亮 Piàoliang” (pretty), which he used to to describe a fantaken photo of himself when he attended a SPAO event in Hong Kong on January 16th.

Leeteuk also expresses his difficulty in maneuvering around the Chinese-based networking site, saying that he might even forget his username ID and password if he logs out.

Leeteuk has been active with schedules in China these few days, as he had also attended the 29th Golden Disk Awards in Beijing as an emcee on January 15th. His increasing activities in China probably explains why he has decided to make a Weibo account.

Leeteuk has also confirmed that the account is his, with a post on his Instagram, which captioned, “..I created a Weibo account, but I don’t really know how to use it.. Please help me!! The smart ones!!!..
