PANDAs are elated and looking forward to holding their very first official Apink light stick this July, however, another fandom is feeling skeptical.
It’s no secret that as a part of any K-Pop fandom, one of the many clashes come from group fandom colors being too close alike. And there’s only so many colors in the world. One of the tricks is to choose a color of different shade in order to differentiate from another fandom in hopes to avoid any types of dispute.
The recent clash is between Girls’ Generation‘s SONEs and Apink‘s PANDAs whose group colors is in the family color of pink.
Apink recently announced the sale of their fan light stick this July, the first ever since their debut five years ago. According to photos published, the light stick lights up in a light shade of pink. However, this has some SONEs concerned as their fandom has mostly monopolized the color in the last nine years.
A screenshot of some SONE fans’ concern was captured. However, other SONEs have also voiced out they aren’t worried about the color clashing as Girls’ Generation’s pink is darker than Apink’s pink which is lighter in color.
