While most idols debut in their teenage years or early twenties, there’s no age restriction on rookies. In fact, these 10 female idols who debuted in 2020 are all 24 or older!

10. Hyeme (Black Swan)

Hyeme was born on December 22, 1995, making her 24 years old (international age) when Black Swan debuted with “Tonight”. She was the main vocalist and dancer of the group before she left last month following a controversy. Before debuting in Black Swan, Hyeme also debuted in RaNia at the age of around 20.

9. Dayeon (XUM)

Dayeon was born on November 17, 1995, making her 24 years old (international age) when XUM debuted with “DDALALA”. She’s the trio’s leader and the main vocalist, previously debuting in Neon Punch when she was around 22.

8. Léa (Secret Number)

Léa was born on August 12, 1995, making her 24 years old (international age) when Secret Number debuted with “Who Dis?”. Back when she was around 16 years old, she debuted in SKarf. Now, the Japanese starlet is part of her group’s vocal line.

Suri was born on October 11, 1994, making her 25 years old (international age) when CHECKMATE debuted with “DRUM”. After debuting in AMOR at the age of around 22, Suri became the main rapper and main dancer of her new group.

Sieun was born on September 19, 1993, making her 27 years old (international age) when CHECKMATE debuted with “DRUM”. Sieun is the co-ed group’s leader and main vocalist, first debuting in RAMISU at the age of around 24.
