K-Pop idols have always been given the opportunity to shine more through singing OSTs for K-Dramas. Often times than not, K-Pop idols who star in dramas also sing respective OSTs.
Singing OSTs are one way for K-Pop idols to show a different side to them, whereas they sing songs of genres not usually pursued by idols, as OSTs are more often than not ballads.

SEVENTEEN‘s DK‘s sang his first K-Drama OST for drama Tempted. He sang this ballad and showcased his smooth and beautiful vocals.
2. CHUNGHA – “At The End”
CHUNGHA shows her powerful vocals in this ballad OST for Hotel del Luna.
3. gugudan’s SEJONG – “If Only”
SEJONG‘s voice is faint yet powerful in this OST she sang for K-Drama Legend of the Blue Sea.
4. NCT U’s TAEIL and DOYOUNG – “Radio Romance”
NCT U members TAEIL and DOYOUNG showed what they got when they sang this light and happy OST for Radio Romance.
5. Red Velvet’s Joy – “Yeowooyea”
Joy sang a full song herself where she proved again that her vocals are clear, and easy to listen to, for The Liar and His Lover where she played the lead character in the drama.
6. ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo – “Rainbow Falling”
ASTRO‘s Cha Eun Woo showed again that he is more than just a visual with his clear and light vocals for his first OST for My ID is Gangnam Beauty where he also starred as the main character.
7. EXO’s Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin – “For You”
EXO‘s Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin sang this OST and impressed everyone, as expected, for Moonlovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo where Baekhyun also starred as an actor.
8. Henry – “It’s You”
Henry sang this lighthearted and pure-English OST for drama While You Were Sleeping.
