18 K-Pop Comebacks & Debuts In May 2022 That You Won’t Want To Miss

With April already over halfway through, now is a good time to start looking forward to next month and what the K-Pop industry has in store for fans! It’s already looking to be a packed-full month, with some highly anticipated comebacks and debuts planned. Here are 18 K-Pop releases set for May 2022 that you won’t want to miss!

May 2: Lim Youngwoong Comeback

On May 2 at 6PM KST/5AM EST, soloist Lim Youngwoong is planning to release his first full-length album, titled IM HERO. This will be his first solo album released as well, since he has only released digital singles in the past, with “My Starry Love” being his most recent in 2021!

May 2: LE SSERAFIM Debut

Also on May 2, Source Music‘s highly anticipated girl group, LE SSERAFIM, is set to debut at 6PM KST/5AM EST! The mini-album is titled FEARLESS, and the group includes former IZ*ONE members Sakura and Chaewon.

May 3: Ryeowook Solo Comeback

On May 3, Super Junior member Ryeowook is planning to release his third mini-album, A Wild Rose, at 6PM KST/5AM EST!

May 3: iKON Comeback

Also on May 3, iKON is set to have their highly anticipated comeback with their fourth mini-album, FLASHBACK! This will be their first album release since they came out with I Decide back in February 2020.

May 3: ENHYPEN Japanese Comeback

Finally on May 3, ENHYPEN is planning to release their second Japanese single, DIMENSION.

May 4: WOODZ Comeback

On May 4, WOODZ is planning to release his fourth mini-album, titled Colorful Trauma! This will be his first album released since he came out with Only Lovers Left last October.

May 5: CLASS:y Debut

On May 5 at 6PM KST/5AM EST, CLASS:y, the seven-member girl group formed by the survival show My Teenage Girl, is set to release their first mini-album titled Y: CLASS IS OVER.

May 9: TXT Comeback

On May 9, TXT is planning to release their much-anticipated comeback with the mini-album minisode 2: Thursday’s Child! This will be their first Korean album since they released The Chaos Chapter: Fight or Escape back in August 2021.

May 17: ONEUS Comeback

On May 17, ONEUS plans to release their 7th mini-album, TRICKSTER. This will be their first album release since they came out with Blood Moon last year, with the title track “LUNA” that won them their first music show award!

May 17: TNX Debut

Also on May 17, P NATION‘s new six-member boy group formed by survival show LOUD, TNX (or The New Six), is set to debut at 6PM KST/5AM EST.

May 18: DRIPPIN Japanese Debut

On May 18, rookie boy group DRIPPIN is planning to make their Japanese debut with the single “So Good”.

May 24: BLANK2Y Debut

On May 24, Keystone Entertainment is preparing to debut their new nine-member boy group, BLANK2Y, at 6PM KST/5AM EST. The group includes former I-LAND contestant Youngbin!

May 25: ATEEZ Japanese Comeback

On May 25, ATEEZ is set to release their second Japanese mini-album, BEYOND: ZERO! The album will have seven tracks total, including the new song “The King” as well as Japanese versions of “Deja Vu”, “Turbulence”, “Take Me Home”, “Fireworks (I’m The One)”, and “Rocky”.

May 27: THE BOYZ Japanese Comeback

On May 27, THE BOYZ is also planning a Japanese comeback with their second mini-album She’s The Boss. It’s going to have six original songs, although sadly, Eric will be absent from promotions due to ongoing health concerns.

TBA: SEVENTEEN Comeback

Though an official date hasn’t been set yet, SEVENTEEN plans to release their long-awaited fourth full-length album sometime in May! They already came out with the English pre-release single, “Darl+ing”, on April 15.

TBA: bugAboo Comeback

A date hasn’t been set for this comeback either, but rookie girl group bugAboo is said to be making a comeback with their second single album sometime in the month!

BVNDIT will also be making a comeback sometime during May, which will be their first release in two years!

TBA: Yerin Solo Debut

And finally, former GFRIEND member Yerin is planning to make her solo debut album sometime in mid-May under her new label, Sublime Artist Agency.
