These Are The Only 9 K-Pop Girl Groups & Duos With Platinum Song Certification In Korea

These girl groups are some of the most successful in South Korea, and they have the certifications to prove it. The nine groups and duos on this list were all certified Platinum for streaming (100,000,000 streams), downloads (2,500,000 downloads), or both.

1. BLACKPINK

BLACKPINK’s June 2018 song “DDU-DU-DDU-DU” was awarded Platinum streaming certification 5 months after release and achieved Platinum download certification after 10 months. This makes “DDU-DU-DDU-DU” the fastest girl group track to officially be certified Platinum after its release.
