With 6.7 billion tweets across the world, K-Pop was bigger than ever on Twitter in 2020. According to new data from the platform, these 10 K-Pop songs were the most popular of the year.

10. BTS – “Shadow”

The 10th most popular K-Pop song on Twitter last year according to tweet mentions was BTS’s “Shadow.” Suga‘s fiery rap was an interlude on Map of the Soul: 7, peaking at No.48 on Gaon and No.11 on the Billboard US World chart.

9. BTS – “Boy With Luv”

The 9th most popular K-Pop song on Twitter last year according to tweet mentions was BTS’s “Boy With Luv.” “Boy With Luv”, which is certified Platinum in three countries, was the only 2019 release to make it onto the list.

8. TWICE – “More & More”

The 8th most popular K-Pop song on Twitter last year according to tweet mentions was TWICE’s “More & More.” Peaking at no.1 on Melon, “More & More” also entered the charts in Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Singapore. TWICE was also the 9th most mentioned K-Pop artist on Twitter last year.

7. BLACKPINK – “How You Like That”

The 7th most popular K-Pop song on Twitter last year according to tweet mentions was BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That.” The song’s music video broke numerous records, including the record for the most-watched music video in 24 hours at the time. BLACKPINK was also the 4th most mentioned K-Pop artist on Twitter last year.

6. NCT 2020 – “Resonance”

The 6th most popular K-Pop song on Twitter last year according to tweet mentions was NCT 2020’s “Resonance.” The iconic mashup song reached No.14 on the US World chart. NCT was also the 2nd most mentioned K-Pop artist on Twitter last year.

5. GOT7 – “Breath”

The 5th most popular K-Pop song on Twitter last year according to tweet mentions was GOT7’s “Breath.” The group’s penultimate single before departing from their agency, “Breath” reached no.1 on the iTunes charts in several countries.
