It was revealed that in addition to locking him up in a suitcase, the step-mother jumped on top of the bag he was in despite weighing 70 kilograms (around 150 pounds) and her son weighing just 23 kilograms (around 50 pounds).

Furthermore, she told her biological children to jump on top of the boy as well, meaning he had to endure a total of 160 kilograms (around 350 pounds) on top of him.

The step-mother also taped various cracks that formed in the suitcase and even blew hot hair into the suitcase using a blowdryer.

As a result, the boy was ultimately found in cardiac arrest and later passed away in the hospital due to hypoxic brain damage.

Regarding her shocking actions, the step-mother explained,

I trapped him in a bag to discipline him, and I didn’t think I could kill him with my actions.

She also claimed,

I did go on top of the bag, but I never jumped.

The 41-year-old step-mother was sentenced to 22 years in prison for murder.
