Billboard says Amber might be the most popular star in K-pop

In a recent post, Billboard mentions that f(x)‘s Amber might just be the most popular idol in all of K-pop.

Making her solo debut on February 12th, Amber gained much attention for her quirky and energetic track, “Shake That Brass.” Amber even captured the attention of Billboard who had a few comments to make about Amber’s solo debut.

Billboard wrote that Amber’s music video basically featured every single K-pop star in the industry. “Shake That Brass” included g.o.d’s Joon Park, Irene, miss A’s Min and Jia, Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon and Tiffany, Busker Busker’s Brad, GOT7’s Jackson, Rainbow’s Woori, Crayon Pop’s Ellin, NU’EST’s Aron, C-CLOWN’s Rome and others as well.

Based off the numerous amount of idols that made the music video possible, Billboard commented that Amber had a large popularity among K-pop idols. However, they say that even though there is a great number of stars in the video, Amber still holds as the main star of the song. Billboard wrote, “Over a horn-laden beat that sounds like something Missy Elliot would craft up, Amber lays down rap after rap with her signature fire.”

Meanwhile, Amber will be guest starring on the upcoming episode of Roommate 2 along with GOT7’s BamBam and Super Junior-M‘s Henry.
