BLACKPINK Become The First Female Artists In History To Achieve This Impressive Youtube Record

BLACKPINK’s long list of records just keeps growing!

Even before its official release, BLACKPINK‘s “Kill This Love” had already broken and created some records and after its release, there was simply no stopping it! With an already impressive number of records, on August 17, BLACKPINK and “Kill This Love” made that list even longer!

On August 17, “Kill This Love” officially hit the 10 million likes mark on Youtube. This marked BLACKPINK’s second music video to hit the number after “DDU-DU DDU-DU” hit 10 million likes on July 26.

While hitting their second 10 million likes is already reason enough to celebrate, the achievement is even more impressive. When “Kill This Love” reached the number it became the fifth female music video to do so. The only other female MVs to achieve this are Adele‘s “Hello”, BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU”, Dua Lipa‘s “New Rules”, and Camila Cabella and Shawn Mendes‘ “Señorita”.

That, however, isn’t the only outstanding record! With two of these achievements under their belts, BLACKPINK became the first (and only) female artist on Youtube to achieve this!

Just a few more outstanding records to add to their ever-growing list! Congratulations BLACKPINK!
