When it comes to treating fans, BTS will do everything to ensure that their fans (ARMYs) are always up-to-date with content. They love to spoil their fans whenever they can from selfies, tweets, and live streams! Even as the members are currently on their extended vacation, they’ve been keeping fans updated with everything they’re doing.
Well, it seems as if they’ve done exactly that again… sort of. On December 20, ARMYs were shocked to see an upcoming live schedule on YouTube set for 10 PM (KST) with the title “BTS CCTV LIVE.”
BTS CCTV LIVE begins soon:

When fans clicked on the video when it started, they were met with CCTV cameras showing eight different locations from dance studios, what looked like a lounge, and even a car.
Yet, very quickly, there was movement. In the first clip, a mysterious figure starts to walk around the hallway, and it is revealed to be a very handsome-looking Jin. He then stood staring at a door for a while… and then vanished.
In the next room, which is much darker, another person appears and walks towards the windows to have a nostalgic look outside. It isn’t until he sits down on the beanbag and takes out his phone that Jimin can be identified… but then he vanished as well.
Next up, RM appeared in a dance studio and was just chilling as if nothing was happening. From playing on his phone, taking a selfie, and then dancing on the floor, it wasn’t long before he vanished as well.
It seemed like a pattern going on as Suga was the next member to make an appearance in a lounge area. He was living his best life, relaxing, going on his phone, having a lie-down, and then vanishing… yet, this time, the couch also vanished with the words “Super Casting” on the ground. Things were beginning to take shape.
It was easy to identify the next member in the dance room. With his unrivaled swag and effortless movement with his facing, it had to be J-Hope. ARMYs enjoyed watching J-Hope just vibing… until he vanished after having a drink of water.
As expected, V‘s was a little different, and he was the member who appeared in a beautiful car. At first, there was a great close-up shot of V before he got out of the car and started having a dance around. Like Suga, there seemed to be another hint when he vanished, as a polaroid appeared with all seven members on it.
The final member was Jungkook. Looking very dapper in a tartan shirt, he also was just walking around the room and going on his phone before, you guessed it right, vanishing.
After half an hour of waiting and all the members appearing on the screen, suddenly an announcement popped up saying, “SUPER CASTING COMING SOON,” with no other information! That was it.
Although fans have their own predictions and hypothesis linking to the group’s upcoming webtoon, many couldn’t believe that they sat through half an hour just for that. At the same time, others were just thankful to see the members’ handsome faces.

However, this isn’t the first time BTS has left ARMYs waiting for a long time just for an announcement. In April, there was a live stream featuring a melting cube of butter and the sounds of a fryer. After an hour of waiting, it turned out to be the announcement of their hit track “Butter.”
They aren’t even the first HYBE artist to do it. Earlier in the year, TXT made MOAs watch a live stream of an elevator for an hour before performing their hit track “LO$ER=LO♡ER.”
No matter what the future of this announcement leads to, it was definitely fun for ARMYs to try and crack the code. Hopefully, they won’t have to wait long. You can read more about ARMYs reaction to the stream below!
