BTS’s “Dynamite” Makes Canadian Music History Alongside Psy’s “Gangnam Style”

The song ties as the longest-charting song by a Korean musician.

BTS just keeps on adding accolades to an already impressive list, as their hit song “Dynamite” now holds the title of the longest-charting song by a Korean artist on the Canadian Hot 100, tying with Psy‘s “Gangnam Style.”

“Dynamite” occupying #50 on the Canadian Hot 100

The catchy track has spent half a year, or 26 weeks in a row, on the charts. This may have already been matched by “Gangnam Style,” but it is predicted that BTS will spend even more time on the Billboard charts, thereby taking the prestigious title for themselves.

The song currently stands at #50, sitting safely halfway on the charts. Time will tell whether the group changes this title to one with a sole holder.

Congratulations to BTS for this incredible achievement!
