Another day, more history.

Days after claiming the #1 position on the Billboard 200 chart, they have once again made history, with their placement on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

BTS Achieves Number 1 On The Billboard 200 Albums Chart

Billboard has announced that “FAKE LOVE” has taken the #10 spot on the Hot 100 chart, making the song the first time a K-Pop group has ever broken in the Top 10 the first week.

The Billboard Hot 100 ranks songs based on how much they were played on radio, the number of sales, and streams

The previous record for highest charting song by a K-Pop group was also held by BTS with their track “MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)”, which debuted #28.

The only other K-Pop artist who has been able to reach these levels of success on the Hot 100 is PSY, whose tracks “Gangnam Style” and “Gentleman” hit #2 and #5 respectively.

“FAKE LOVE” also achieved #1 on Digital Song Sales for the week with 29,000 sold and #7 on streaming, with 27.4 million streams in the United States.
