Back in July, BTS was invited to the Blue House to be officially appointed as “Special Presidential Envoys for Future Generations and Culture.” BTS will now accompany President Moon to the UNGA in New York, where they are expected to speak words of comfort and hope to the world’s youth.

BTS’s trip will reportedly be a quiet one, as official details about their schedule have not been released. The group’s leader, RM, briefly mentioned BTS’s trip during his recent birthday broadcast.

Yes, when we visit the US, we’ll be doing something fun.

In 2018, BTS attended UNGA for the first time, as special guests for UNICEF. Here RM recited his now-famous “Love Yourself” speech as part of BTS’s “Love Myself” campaign.
