EXO to continue “Call Me Baby” promotions amidst reports Tao terminating contract

Despite the current commotion surrounding Tao‘s possible withdrawal from the group, EXO will be continuing their broadcasting promotions with “Call Me Baby.”

On April 23rd, SM Entertainment confirmed with Newsen that EXO will be appearing on this week’s KBS Music Bank, MBC Music Core, and SBS Inkigayo as scheduled.

EXO is currently facing another possible member loss after Tao’s father shared a lengthy letter on the 22nd that he wishes to withdraw Tao from the group, fearing for his son’s health. It was later revealed that Tao had agreed to his father’s wishes to withdraw. As a response, SM Entertainment stated that they would be discussing in a constructive dialogue in regards of Tao’s activities with his father in hopes to resolve the situation.

Last year in February, Tao received an ankle injury on MBC‘s Idol Athletics Championship. However, with his continuing schedule, the ankle never fully recovered and worsen after taking up the first stage of “Call Me Baby” on M! Countdown in April.
