G-Dragon generously donates birthday money to the UN Refugee Agency

BIGBANG’s G-Dragon extended his charitable gesture to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees on his birthday.

To mark his 28th birthday last August 18th, G-Dragon reportedly gave 81.8 million won to the United Nations Refugee Agency. YG Entertainment confirmed in a statement that the artist wanted to help the refugees struck off from their homes in conflict areas and also aimed to create more awareness about the cause.

After his birthday, YG Entertainment also collaborated with UNICEF’s latest campaign “Celebrate and Give,” as the members celebrated their tenth anniversary.

G-Dragon joined the rest of the members for a sold-out concert at the Seoul World Cup Stadium last August 20th.
