The odds are in their favor!

GOT7‘s Mark Tuan is finally releasing his first-ever solo album!

GOT7’s Mark Tuan

Since GOT7 departed JYP Entertainment, all seven members have kept very busy. Mark moved back to California and signed with the American talent and sports agency Creative Artists Agency LLC, commonly referred to as CAA.

In addition to GOT7’s full group comeback, over the course of the past year or so, Mark has released singles such as “save me,” “lonely,” “my life,” “last breath,” and most recently, “imysm.”

Ahgases (also known as iGOT7, GOT7 fans) have been anticipating a full album release. Fellow members Jay B, BamBam, Youngjae, Jackson Wang, and Yugyeom have all released solo albums and some even more than one. Up until now, Mark and Jinyoung were the only ones left.

Finally, Mark has confirmed that his first solo album is to release next month on August 26, 2022. It is titled the other side.

Mark released a brief teaser on social media platforms. It revealed the album title and design.

Previously, Mark had told fans that the album was done with the release of “save me.” So it’s been in the works for a while.

Now, Ahgases are wondering if Mark will tour with the release of the other side. Recently, he sold out the three-day PULL-UP fan meeting in Thailand.

So, while he is incredibly popular in Asia, he also has fans who would love to see him elsewhere, especially in the United States.

It definitely seems like a possibility based on past statements made by Mark. He told FLAUNT Magazine that he looks forward to performing his own songs on tour.

I’m actually really excited to perform these songs live. I hope it gives off a different energy from what we do when we tour as GOT7. I feel like, as a group, the stage is so full and there’s a lot to see. I hope with my own tour, it can get more personal and intimate with the fans.

He shared similar sentiments in his Cosmopolitan interview. Mark said he hopes to tour soon.
