IU Reveals How She Felt At Her Mini-Concert Recording On “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook”

Happy 12th Anniversary IU!

IU celebrated the 12th Anniversary of her debut by going live on Naver V Live to communicate with her fans. In the live broadcast, IU talked about what she has been up to in the past few months and spoke about how the mini-concert recording on KBS Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook went.

She began talking about her experience recording the mini-concert and said, “I usually stay in bed for three days sick after my concerts. I can’t do anything for about three days. I went to record for Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook mentally prepared for a concert, but I was extremely wrong to expect something similar.”

IU explained that there were so many different aspects she failed to prepare herself for and that it was a challenging experience for her. As we all know, she still rocked all of her performances (check out the video below).

She also mentioned that she wasn’t prepared for all the different camera angles and added, “I thought it would be easy because I was scheduled to sing fewer songs than I would have at a concert, but it was tough regardless. I felt like I did three concerts in one day“.

Fans were shocked when IU told them the mini-concert took over 10 hours of singing, performing, and careful deliberation.

IU wrapped up the topic by expressing her love for the fans by saying the whole process was a lot harder because she didn’t have an audience there with her.

Make sure to congratulate IU’s 12th Anniversary by watching her mini-concert!
