Jason Derulo Shares Thoughts on EXO’s Lay, NCT127, BLACKPINK, and Much More

He recently attended a press conference in Korea.

Pop artist Jason Derulo and CEO Jerry L. Greenberg of 7SIX9 Entertainment recently visited Korea for a press conference where they shared their thoughts on Korea and K-Pop.

Jason Derulo recently collaborated with EXO‘s Lay and NCT127 for a music video called “LET’S SHUT UP & DANCE” which was a tribute to Michael Jackson for being the greatest dancer of all time. This song is just the first of four singles of an album called “The Greatest Dancer” which will be released on June 25.

Jason Derulo started off the press conference by expressing his thoughts on visiting Korea. He stated, “I’m really happy to be back in Korea, and I’m even happier that I can eat pork belly again. I’m excited because this is my longest stay since I visited 2 years ago for a music festival.

Jason Derulo also expressed his wishes to take this opportunity to learn more about Korean culture. He said, “My schedule’s always so tight that I rarely get a chance to get to know Korea properly. I’m glad I’ll get to learn more about Korean culture this time around.

He also shared his thoughts on his collaboration with EXO’s Lay and NCT127. Jason Derulo stated, “There aren’t that many artists with such outstanding singing and dancing ability. I was really happy to collaborate with EXO’s Lay and NCT127. It was very easy to sing and dance with them, and I’m thankful for their outstanding talent.

Jerry Greenberg joined in and expressed his thoughts on Korea as well. He said, “I love Korea and I’m really happy to be here. I came to Korea to look for the next biggest K-Pop star. K-Pop is spreading across the globe, and I’m curious as to who the next star will be.

When Jason Derulo and Jerry Greenberg were asked which K-Pop stars they’d like to collaborate with, Jerry Greenberg said nothing had been decided thus far, while Jason Derulo shared that he would like to collaborate with BLACKPINK, which lit up the atmosphere of the press conference.

The Asian representative of 7SIX9 Entertainment stated, “This Michael Jackson tribute album won’t be the last of it. We are planning to seek out talented Korean stars to collaborate with those from abroad. There will be many collaborations in the future. Please look forward to it.”
