Ji Chang Wook And Kim Ji Won To Unite With “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” PD In New Drama

Top actors Ji Chang Wook and Kim Ji Won is set to unite with the PD of currently internationally trending drama It’s Okay to Not Be Okay for a new drama.

According to an exclusive report from Ilgan Sports, Ji Chang Wook and Kim Ji Won have been cast as the leads in KakaoTV’s short form drama Love Laws of City Men and Women.

Love Laws of City Men and Women is a new work written by I Need Romance and Discovery of Love writer Jeong Hyun Jeong and also co-written by Jeong Da Yeon. It tells a story of a life-threatening love within a city. Because the production team decided to have the drama air via KakaoTV, the format will be different from traditional dramas. There will be 12 episodes, with each episode lasting around 25 minutes, with the possibility of also being produced in a season format.

The directing will be led by Park Shin Woo PD, most notable for his current drama It’s Okay to Not Be Okay. He will have little time for rest, as he will dive into production of Love Laws of City Men and Women right after the conclusion of It’s Okay to Not Be Okay.

This will mark Kim Ji Won’s first acting role since moving to SALT Entertainment following the conclusion of Arthdal Chronicles. Filming for the drama is expected to begin in October, with its first broadcast in November. This will also be Ji Chang Wook’s next drama following the conclusion Backstreet Rookie.
