Kim Young Kwang joins Soo Ae for new drama “The Man Who Lives in Our House”

Actor Kim Young Kwang will join the cast of KBS2 drama The Man Who Lives in Our House alongside Soo Ae.

Kim has been praised previously for his acting skills and flair in dramas Good Doctor and Love Rain, and he had starred in the movie Hot Young Bloods. There is a lot to look forward to as Kim has pulled off diverse roles from a doctor to reporter.

The drama, set to premiere in mid-October, revolves around the romance between double-life flight attendant Hong Nari (Soo Ae) and her new father, Ko Nan-gil (Kim Young Kwang). Appearing from thin air, Ko Nan-gil has a mysterious past, and is revealed to be younger than his daughter! He will be a heartthrob character who would risk anything to save Nari and her dumpling house that Nari’s mother left behind. The plot is sure to target both the audiences’ hearts and laughter.

The drama staff commented that audiences can expect to see heartwarming familial love and a unique father-daughter chemistry.  Drama staff also noted that Ko Nan-gil is a character who is as playful as a child but also quite manly: “We were looking for a Janus-like actor and decided to cast Kim. Please look forward to the drama as Kim and Soo Ae will come together for a special relationship never seen before.”

The Man Who Lives in Our House is a romantic mystery drama originally based on a webtoon of the same name. It is produced by Contents K who also produced well-built stories such as Secret and School 2013, written by Kim Eunjung of Flower Boys Next Door and directed by Kim Jungmin well known for his smooth scenery in Gunman in Joseon and The Princess’s Man.
