In a new “Comment Defenders” interview with AYO on YouTube, life readers Dohwador and Quinee revealed which idols in the industry were born to be stars.
Dohwador describes himself as a life reader in his 20s who “consults your fate easily“, while Quinee is a life consultant who “consults all sorts of human’s emotions with fate“. Between them, they’ve met with major Korean stars like Sunmi, I.O.I, X1, Yoo Jae Suk, and Super Junior‘s Heechul to consult on all matters of fate, fortune, physiognomy, and more.
In response to one viewer’s question, Quinee explained that some idols are just born to be loved by the public based on their physiognomy—how their appearance reflects their character. Here are five that she and Dohwador revealed.
1. Mino (Winner)
According to Quinee, male idols with pentagon face shapes have a type of physiognomy known as “Hwa”. Those with “Hwa” faces are thought to be naturally highly artistic and great at “expressing themselves with their body“, making them perfect for the idol career path.
Mino was one of the idols in the video who has all the “Hwa” features: a low, square forehead, high cheekbones and nose, and a sharp jawline.
2. Cha Eunwoo (ASTRO)
Quinee went on to name another idol whose facial features make him destined for success: ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo. The life consultant noted how long and thick his eyebrows are, even with no makeup on.
According to physiognomy, Quinee says “people bring money to people with those eyebrows” and no matter what they do, “they succeed through their popularity.”
3. Jihyo (TWICE)
As for female idols, Quinee says those with round eyes and double eyelids are born to be idols. TWICE’s Jihyo, for example, is one of them.
The life consultant explained that Jihyo’s eyes are often described as “mandarin eyes” because they resemble the eyes of a mandarin duck.
4. RM (BTS)
While some born idols have faces that make them more likely to be popular, others have a physiognomy that leads them on a different path to stardom. Take BTS’s RM, for example.
According to Quinee, RM’s “round, prominent brow bone” means he’s more likely to succeed with professional skills, knowledge, and persistence—which makes perfect sense given RM’s high IQ and underdog journey.
5. Hoshi (SEVENTEEN)
Last but not least is SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi. Hoshi is known to fans by the nickname “10:10” because of the upturned angle of his eyes.
Quinee says “peaked eyes” like his point to a sense of ambition and “a very high desire to achieve something“.
