Lawyer Explains How Yang Hyun Suk May Avoid Getting Charged For Soliciting Prostitution

He may not even be investigated due to this one key detail.

Yang Hyun Suk was recently accused of soliciting prostitution to 8 foreign business partners back in July 2014.

MBC Straight released an exclusive coverage with witnesses who claimed Yang Hyun Suk went to dinner and a club with his male business partners and provided them with their choice of prostitutes to entertain them for the night.

As the police claimed they will begin looking into these accusations with the full cooperation of MBC, Lawyer No Young Hee explained how Yang Hyun Suk may avoid being investigated at all.

She explained that the statute of limitations on prosecution regarding prostitution is 5 years. That means there is only a month long window where Yang Hyun Suk could be charged.

The police also have to find evidence that he organized or have at least been aware that prostitution was taking place at the time. Considering how long ago the alleged crime had taken place, it will be difficult for the police to gather up substantial evidence in a month’s time.

However, Lawyer No Young Hee also pointed out that there could be another way if Mr. Bob, the Thai investor who had attended the gathering, is found guilty of sexually assaulting and drugging a woman that night.

A woman recently exposed through Straight that Mr. Bob drugged her, took her to his hotel, and physically and sexually assaulted her. The case against Mr. Bob doesn’t seem to have a clear ending in sight as of now as he continues to refuse the prosecutions’ summons.

“Mr. Bob” who is accused of being involved in Yang Hyun Suk’s night of prostitution and drugs.

The police are currently working diligently into the investigations regarding Yang Hyun Suk, Mr. Bob, and those who are allegedly involved in the prostitution ring.
