Ahead of their May release of their anticipated Japanese single “Catch Me If You Can,” a preview of Girls’ Generation‘s title track has been published.
On March 29th, TBS Countdown TV shared a short preview to the song, revealing it to be an upbeat,EDM-pop track that is unlike previous Japanese singles released by the popular girl group.
It is evident even with the Japanese single covers that the girl group is taking on an edgier concept and look for their upcoming release, as they were seen in military pants and boots worn with loose, white crop tops. The music video was reported to have completed as well and was taken outdoors, making fans anticipate the Japanese release even further.
In addition, Girls’ Generation is reported to be preparing for their Korean comeback as well. Both releases are also noted as the first releases from the group as an eight-member band since the leave of Jessica Jung in 2014.
