“SKY Castle” American Remake To Air On NBC With New Title

Here are all the changes they’ll be making:

SKY Castle took last year by storm as the drama with the highest viewership in all of 2018. With such a successful storyline, NBC has ordered a pilot for the American remake.

Warner Brothers Studios will be taking part in its creation, and will is scheduled to air with a new title, called TriBeCa. As the title suggests, the story will take place in the TriBeCa neighborhood of Manhattan, New York.

Producers, Greg Berlanti, Robert Rovner, and Jessica Queller will be the masterminds behind the remake. These famous producers have worked on popular shows, such as SupergirlGossip Girl, and more.

The producers decided to adapt SKY Castle‘s story of college admissions with the recent 2019 College Admissions Bribery Scandal, where affluent and influential parents tried to bribe top American colleges.

The characters will not be based on the people who were a part of the scandal, but the show will focus more on social issues and the pressures of living in a modern urban environment.

The specific date and other details have yet to be announced.
