SM Entertainment has announced their latest round of global auditions. This time, it’s extra special because they are specifically looking for members to debut with NCT. NCT is SM Entertainment’s most recent formal boy group debut. Originally debuting in 2016, the concept involves infinite expansion and multiple units.
It seems like they’re ready to debut a fresh new unit, for they released news of a global audition on June 10, 2022. The official audition account teased the audition with a “Welcome To The NEOCITY” caption.
It seems that they plan on having a unit for multiple cities, for the audition poster contains iconic imagery from every major city globally. The cherry atop the sundae? Finalists for the audition will be provided with an opportunity to sign a training contract and debut as an NCT member.
Finalists are provided with SM training/contract and a chance to debut as an NCT member.

The catch? You have to be born between 2001 and 2008 and a male. Nationality does not matter this time. You can audition with vocals, rap, or dance. Each city will have a specific audition period that you can send in your auditions. The first round will be held online through Google forms or Weibo for China. An offline audition will happen if you pass the first round. This can be substituted with a live Zoom audition in some cases.
So to sum up here’s all you have to remember to do. Sign up through the official Google form and make sure to attach a self-introduction video and a video of you showing off your talents. Make sure your video isn’t taken using an app or filter, and keep them within a minute long. For those signing up for dance, you have to select a song from their fixed list.
Currently, they’re kicking off auditions in Toronto, Vancouver, New York, L.A, Seoul, Bangkok, Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh, Osaka, Fukuoka, Tokyo, Beijing, Guangzhou, and Chongqing.
