Super Junior’s Yesung release date from the military confirmed for early May

Yesung is finally returning from his military duties, and it seems he’ll be jumping right into work.

Even ahead of his official release, it has been reported that Yesung will be joining the remaining members of the Super Junior unit K.R.Y for their comeback tour in Japan. K.R.Y is the first official unit created under Super Junior in 2006, and is dubbed as the ballad unit consisting of Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, and Yesung, the vocal line.

According to officials, Yesung will be discharged from the military on May 5th from when he will join Kyuhyun and Ryeowook in preparation for their Japan tour this June through July.

Yesung initially entered the military in 2013, serving as a public service personnel. It has not yet been determined if Super Junior will be preparing a new album with the return of Yesung. Currently, the members are focusing on individual activities as MCs, radio DJs, and more. Yesung returns as member Sungmin and Shindong enlisted in late March.
