Survey reveals South Koreans are the least passionate about cooking

According to a survey taken by GfK, South Korea is the country where residents spend the least amount of time cooking in the kitchen.

Because of South Korea’s street food culture, which includes affordable and easy to access food, South Koreans seem to prefer grabbing a quick bite to eat such as ddukbokki, dakkochi, and the likes while roaming the beautiful cities in South Korea.

South Koreans spends an average of less than four hours cooking, which makes them rank the lowest out of the 22 countries that participated in the survey, which revealed that residents of India and Ukraine spend an average of 13 hours a week cooking.

When GfK asked how passionate the survey participants were about cooking and food, South Korea was ranked last with 13 percent while Italians were the most passionate.

The survey included more than 27,000 people between the age of 15 and older from 22 different countries.
