TWICE Postpones Japan Tokyo Dome Concerts As A Precaution Against COVID-19 Outbreak

They have postponed their concerts.

TWICE has announced that they will be postponing their Japan Dome concerts.

On February 26, TWICE’s official Japanese Twitter account posted an announcement about the postponement, citing the safety precautions due to the COVID-19.

 

The official announcement says:

TWICE WORLD TOUR 2019 TWICELIGHTS IN JAPAN ‘Tokyo Dome’  that was originally scheduled to take place at Tokyo Dome on March 3 (Tuesday) and March 4 (Wednesday) has been postponed in response to the government’s request following the Coronavirus Infectious Disease Control Headquarters announcement this afternoon.

In addition, we wish to inform you of the new dates that have been decided as follows.

“ TWICE WORLD TOUR 2019 ‘TWICELIGHTS’ IN JAPAN ” Tokyo Dome Performance

1. Performance on March 3 (Tuesday) → April 15 (Wednesday) * Transfer performance

2. Performance on Wednesday, March 4 → Thursday, April 16 * Transfer performance

Details of the above performances that have been transferred will be announced on this site on February 28 (Friday).

For those who have been looking forward to the performance, we apologize for the inconvenience. We would appreciate your understanding with regards to decreasing the chances of the spread of the infection.
