TWICE Is Releasing Their First OST In The Most Spectacular Way Imaginable

There’s so much hype and anticipation for it!

Fans have been wondering when the Nation’s Girl Group TWICE will be releasing their first OST song, and now we finally have an answer!

TWICE announced through their official Japanese Twitter account that they would be contributing a song to the OST for the upcoming Japanese film, Sensei Kunshu.

More specifically, they would be performing a cover of “I Want You Back” by The Jackson 5.

“I Want You Back” was the first hit song by the group and launched the career of music legend and the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson.

“I Want You Back” topped the charts in the United States when it came out in 1969, peaking at the number 1 position.

Korean fans are also very familiar with the song as it became quite popular with fans after a short clip was featured in the movie Guardians of the Galaxy.

Singers in Korea typically release OSTs for television dramas, but TWICE is taking a different route with a Japanese movie OST – and they’re getting a lot of attention for it!

Japan is the third-largest film market in the world (after the United States and China), so the OST will be heard by a huge amount of people!
