Yoon Eun Hye responds to Kim Jong Kook’s apology

In response to Kim Jong Kook’s remorse, Yoon Eun Hye has expressed her gratitude and apology in light of the recent retweet campaign to get the actress on Running Man.

On the afternoon of February 11th (KST), Yoon Eun Hye’s agency mentioned, “We heard that Kim Jong Kook called Yoon Eun Hye to apologize for the recent events. Yoon Eun Hye answered, ‘Why would you be sorry?’.”

The agency continued, “Yoon Eun Hye is actually thankful that people still look on her with adoration. She also feels bad that he had called her to make an apology. She also mentioned that she thinks it’s amazing and cool how even after 10 years after ‘X-Men,’ their relationship on the show is still a hot topic and added that it’s nothing to apologize over for sure.”

Previously, on February 5th, SBS began a social media campaign, urging Running Man lovers to retweet and use hashtags to convince Yoon Eun Hye to appear on the variety show, attracting thousands of fans to participate in just over two days. Within just five days, the tweet went viral with over 33,000 participants retweeting to summon the actress.

As the movement went so viral, Kim Jong Kook’s representative stated earlier on February 11th, “Kim Jong Kook felt very apologetic towards Yoon Eun Hye because he seems to have inadvertently created an uncomfortable situation for her due to the recent mentions of the episodes aired in the past television show.”
