BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon, and Oh My Girl‘s Hyojung all have their own unique styles, but sometimes, their outfits still overlap. That said, even when all three stars recently wore the same dress, they still served completely different looks.
The dress in question is surprisingly cheap on the scale of idol fashion. Featuring removable crystal straps with a statement bow and sweetheart neckline in the back, this taffeta bow mini dress from cult-favorite brand Self Portrait costs just $380 USD.
Jisoo wore the dress for BLACKPINK’s 2021 Season’s Greetings photoshoot. Over the top, she wore a ₩220,000 KRW (about $197 USD) tulle skirt from Repetto. A ₩97,000 KRW (about $86.70 USD) X2 cloud knit sweater tailored into a cardigan brought a pop of color to the outfit, and Jisoo accessorized with a $690 pearl and crystal headband from Givenchy.
Overall, Jisoo served whimsical fairytale vibes in her version of this outfit. From her headband to her cardigan, she looks like a sweet yet playful princess fresh from a storybook.
Taeyeon showed off the dress on a March 2021 episode of tvN‘s Amazing Saturday (DoReMi Market). She styled it with a feathered headband around an updo and white chiffon gloves. For added glam, she wore a bracelet, watch, and sparkly earrings as accessories.
In contrast to Jisoo’s youthful feel, the way Taeyeon wore this dress gave off more elegant and mature vibes. With the addition of feathers and chiffon, Taeyeon looks like a prima ballerina ready for her next dance performance.
Last but not least, Hyojung wore the dress at last year’s Melon Music Awards in December, both on the arrivals carpet and during her performance.
While the other stars on this list embellished their outfits with plenty of additions, Hyojung’s look is clean with a simple hairstyle and no notable accessories. This gives her a pure and innocent vibe fit for any special occasion.
Given how gorgeous they all look, it’s impossible to decide who wore this dress best!
