EXO’s Suho Stole Hearts During His Speech At Stanford University

His speech made fans fall in love with him all over again!

EXO-L’s who attend Stanford University were in for a treat when EXO‘s leader Suho gave a speech on the Korean Wave (also known as the Hallyu Wave) at the prestigious college today.

EXO’s Suho has been enjoying his travels to the US. In LA, he joined SM Entertainment‘s founder and executive producer, Lee Soo Man, and Girls’ Generation‘s Sunny for the unveiling of SM Entertainment Square. The square in downtown LA is dedicated to Lee Soo Man and SM Entertainment for its achievements in the global music market.

Lee Soo Man and Suho were invited to speak on the rising popularity of South Korea’s entertainment industry. Suho shared his first-hand experience with the impact the Hallyu Wave and K-Pop have had on the world.

Suho delivered his speech in English and made sure to mention his love for his fellow EXO members, and thoughtfully credited EXO-L with their success.

Fans noted that although he initially appeared nervous, he conducted his speech exceptionally well and exceeded their expectations. He settled into his speech and even joked around with the audience.

He also garnered attention for his thoughtful answers during the Q&A portion of his panel.

Fans took to Twitter to show their pride in the leader after Suho completed his panel. Although fans already knew of Suho’s kind nature, they couldn’t help but fall in love with the idol all over again.

Suho ended his time at the conference by promising to return with his fellow EXO members for a group concert before quickly and hilariously clarifying there were no immediate plans.

The conference also discussed North Korea’s geopolitics and the university’s Korea Program. The event will continue for its second and final day tomorrow and will be live-streamed on Stanford’s Shorenstein APARC‘s official YouTube channel, where you can also watch the first day of the conference.
