Super Junior’s Eunhyuk Couldn’t Help But Sulk When aespa Didn’t Cover His Song

We love their friendship! 😂

Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk may be one of the oldest active K-Pop idols, but sometimes his childish side comes out!

NCT Dream recently made a guest appearance on Weekly Idol, the show he co-hosts with Kwanghee. The younger group played a variety of games, revealed fun bits of information about each other, and of course, danced their hearts out!

They covered numerous songs from fellow SM Entertainment groups such as SHINee‘s “Replay” and EXO‘s “GROWL.” They also danced to Super Junior’s hit 2009 track “Sorry Sorry” in that week’s “Weekly Playlist.”

We’ll do a song that has turned the world upside down. It’s ‘Sorry Sorry.’ We have prepared ‘Sorry Sorry.’

— Renjun

As soon as Eunhyuk heard Renjun’s short and sweet introduction for the song, he gave him a finger heart.

Even if they had not chosen to cover his song, he said, “[I’ll] love them no matter what.”

Kwanghee joked that he was not so magnanimous when aespa appeared on the show a few weeks ago.

Last time, when aespa was here, they didn’t do his song.

Continuing the joke, Eunhyuk quipped, “Are you watching aespa?” The show made sure to tell viewers that he was just kidding! NCT Dream also laughed aloud at the mention of an artist from the same company.

Last May, aespa covered Girls’ Generation‘s “Genie,” Red Velvet‘s “Red Flavor,” and NCT 127‘s “Kick It.”

As rising entertainment stars, aespa probably wouldn’t mind the banter!
