Nayeon has opened up about the struggles of performing without her members.

And she also recently released a behind-the-scenes look into the choreography learning progress for her title track, “POP!” where she showed off her impressive dancing ability.

In the video, Nayeon also showed how she felt about the dancers performing “POP!” with her. Since their first day practicing the choreography was also the first time Nayeon met the dancers working with her, she bought them drinks to try and get to know them better.

I’m making an effort to get to know them.

She even tells the camera that she plans on buying them more drinks so they’ll become even more comfortable with one another.

I bought them beverages yesterday. I’ll do that a couple more times.

But, Nayeon admits that not being as close to the dancers actually results in more efficient rehearsals. When she’s with TWICE, they goof around a lot, but she isn’t wasting time with the dancers she’s just getting to know. Proving both her kindness and professionalism.

Because I don’t waste any time by chatting… When I’m with the members, we spend a lot of time just hanging out. But since I’m alone, I was able to learn it within a day or two. For the last two days, we even finished early by like 2 hours. So that’s an upside.

And Nayeon also further proves her kindness by thinking of the dancers and how they have more demanding parts of the choreography than she does, proving her consideration for others.

I think the dancers are probably more tired than I am. I remain in the center, but they have to move around. They’ve also said that this choreography is the hardest they’ve done.
